Re: haha. in your dreams…
Re: I miss being Dr. Love.
Re: I am not a type of person who takes competition seriously. We can still be friends even we are competitors.

Re: First impression never last!
Re: Am I a snob? Thanks for having me as your idol, who else?
Re: Thanks! And I’ll continue being kind to you and to the rest of the gang!
Re: Praises like this boost me to continue parsing even I’m already exhausted from other commitments.
Re: Thanks. Your creativity is also contagious. Yes, the loop invariant will hold forever.
Re: I miss our childhood times. Hey, I heard you courted ‘her’? Tsk. Tsk. It’s okey. We’re over.
Re: Not that much. Low quality scientific calculator compared to some earthlings here in UP. But thanks for having me your #1. Haha.
Re: I heard I am your crush. Hehe. Sorry that I didn’t give that back to you. Jewel – I was his crush then and she was my crush, too. (Childlike!) But like Fine Arts, our story is done painted. It was your debut when I told you ‘I Love You’ though you did not take it seriously. Few days and it’ll be my 21st birthday. I’m expecting something from you.
Re: Right! There are other lessons in life that we will never hear around the four corners of our classroom.

It’s eerie though you can reflect afterwards.
The Dante’s Inferno Test has sent you to the First Level of Hell – Limbo!
Here is how you matched up against all the levels:

zoom, just one look and then my heart went boom
suddenly, and we were on the moon
flying high in a neon sky oh

How many black dots are there?

Did I hear twenty-one?

In our binary world, there are only two things, one and zero. Though, I don’t know which is which?
0000 or 0001
Counting numbers start at one. Whole numbers begin at zero. See, I told you! This is only the beginning.
0002
Light is nothing without darkness. We are asked to write a tribute to the great Jose Rizal. My two best friends compose their piece in different ways. One brought the hush of night into play while the other made use the intensity of light. Although, both worked well. You bet! I also drew metaphors on, greeting the sun and the moon together.
0003
Is boxing ring a square or a circle? A box is a square. A ring is a circle. I simply love their symmetries.
0004
I seldom experience mutualism. I usually offer but receive less, if not any. Commensalism reminds us that it is better to give than to receive. Darn. Just share! Don’t be a parasite.
0005
The unfinished battle between male and female of which sex is better.
0006
Which is more stunning, the sunrise or the sunset? Sunset prompts us the hope that there is a tomorrow to come while the sunrise enliven the same hope that today is another day to thank for.
0007
To leave a miserable relationship with someone you still love or to stay with your love and misery.
0008
Writing prose or writing program. Parser!
0009
Elders tell us to do what is right because for every deed we accomplished our hearts grow (and it is toward to the left).
0010
Imperative or object-oriented. C or Java. The catch-22 only for programmers whether on what language the machine problem will be written.
0011
Starstruck versus Star Circle Quest. The Gigsters against The Fanatics. It is the clash of the not-so-talented-but-good-looking avengers and not-so-good-looking-but-talented questors where the magic of dreaming, believing, and surviving continues.
0012
Destiny or dynasty. The tagline of most awaited sports event we should not miss. Go Purefoods! Go UP!
0013
Tagalog or Filipino. It’s funny that even my fellow countrymen are confused between Tagalog or Filipino. In simple terms, Tagalog is a subset of the Filipino language. Tagalog can be a Bulakeño dialect or Batagueño dialect. Filipino language includes words that come from various language and jargon. Here’s an example:’Salumpuwit’ is Tagalog word for ‘chair’ while ‘silya’ that comes from the Spanish word ‘cilla’ is a Filipino word for the same object. ‘Durungawan’ and ‘bintana’ is another example of Tagalog and Filipino words. Since, Tagalog is a subset of Filipino. All Tagalog words are Filipino words. More Filipino and Tagalog words are found on http://durungawan.blogspot.com.

F4 or 5566. Duh! The Chekwas are already out!
0015
Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end. It was peculiar that the world celebrated 2000 majestically when 2001 marks the start of the new millennium. Well, it is also all right to celebrate endings.
0016
Kapamilya or Kapuso. I am a Channel 2 baby although the tight competition brings better shows in both station. Thus, for a couch potato like me, the station does not matter but rather the show.
0017
Roll-on or deostick. The underarm debate between Cursor and KEM is needs order (odor) in the court. Anyway, I use spray.
0018
When do you celebrate the first day of the week: on Sundays or Mondays?
0019
Top down or bottom up parsing. Again, parser!
0020
To be loved by someone you love less or to love someone who doesn’t love you either. This is the common formula of movies and television shows we enjoy watching because this is also the dilemma of lovers in real world. The choice I suggest is to love.
0021
To love giving your whole you or half of self. I haven’t loved someone partly but I am always shattered completely when dumped in the end after I handed over my whole love. Again, the option is to love.

Here are some fast facts about me. They are, of course, twenty-one.

Why am I undecided to join UP Cursor? The grounds are listed below in no particular order. Whether a positive or a negative cause is yet to resolve.
1. Teejay, the Great. The invitation is casual. Yet, it annoys me when it ends with ‘nandun na kapatid mo’ (your brother is among us). I don’t get what do they insinuate. They are just showing their expectations from me: if not to outshine, to match his feat. No child wants to be compared to his sibling by his parents. What more by other people.
2. Sir Erickson Miranda.I had a chance to skim over a souvenir program. I can hardly believe that he became a Cursor brother.
3. Miss Eng’g.Please spare me. I know it is worth two hundred EWOC points but I can earn the same from other games and contests.
4. Byte-bit.I can’t wait to have my mommy. I hope she is affordable.
5. Sanglay twins.Dyahe tsong! They are former Cursor members. It would be fretful performing before their eyes.
6. CIEM.After I mispronounced their organization name, will I have the guts to stroll along the third floor lobby?
7. I met Ia and Phillip, inseparable couple. One is a dedicated member. The other is a non-member.
8. If I will be a Cursor member, I will not be allowed to participate in the contest events they will organize.
9. Tambay hours. The only free time I have on weekdays is lunch. Let my digestive system works from time to time.
10. I was parsed first before was clicked.
11. Green is among my favorite colors.
12. I think it is safe and better if I am to join in other organization-sponsored Engineering Week events rather than to head ESC-related events having a Cursor brother or friend as one of the contestants, and participants from other organizations as prostesters.
13. Assets. In academics, I am nothing compared to President’s Listers. They took an ES course so they make do straight lines of Uno. The clothing brand Bench sponsors my sports jersey. (Bench boy doin’ some bench presses – got it?). I don’t have a car either. Talent? That’s why we coined the term – hidden talent.
14. Mission Week.I successfully passed COCC. Is this another initiation rite? Just spare my hair.
15. I can do Jay-R’s 24/7 repertoire on talents night. A dream. Can hardly believe. Never will survive.
16. Is there an award of having the most number of organizations joined among the CS Network group?
17. My free time will be further divided and when the time comes (and surely will come) I need to choose only one among priorities (academics, Parser, department student assistance, friends other than CURSOR members), I’m afraid CURSOR will not be favored.
18. Carls Jr. I should never hurt my pocket again. It is near(ly) ass. But movie watching is fine.
19. Cursor has the most number of Computer Science students. It is one big happy population.
20. The battlecry is very creative and very… sexy.
21. This blog. After reading, I’m dead meat on the dreaded interview.
Postscript: The intention of this blog is not to cause any harm on the said organization neither to promote my imminent application.

Previously entitled Engineering the Blogscript, below is my first blog post ever in the world wide web. Blogscript comes from Engineering Logscript, a college paper of the University. It was posted under 10101 at http://dogtag.blogspot.com. My original idea is to come out with articles about 21 things or things related to 21.
I haven’t started to spruce up my scrapbook that I bought as my New Year’s gift to myself, and here, I’m occupied again. Probably what will be printed in the brunette leaves of the orange-covered book is also what will be written in my blog.
10101 is a binary equivalent of base-ten number 21. Why name the blog Twenty-One? Is it my favorite number?
Here is a Java language snippet.
twentyOne = 2 / 3 / 2005;
System.out.println(“Twenty-One is ” + twentyOne);
What will be printed? The quotient 0.000325 is a geeky answer. Think out of the box, dude! I’ll be 21 on the 3rd of February this year. 21 is a number of listings of twenty-one objects and other bits and pieces of my life that I want to share – 21 untold secrets, 21 truths that will strengthen your faith, 21 blessings that made you blessed for not having them, and twenty-one-fold things like you I don’t still know.
But this will be fun. Promise.
