My online journal is closed starting May 16. Its re-opening is indefinite. 10101 may or may not continue. Yet, many surprises to come!
On 07.06.05 (June 07, 2005), It’s gonna be 5 and ali’v'e!
and on 07/06/05 (July 06, 2005), Let’s have a site seeing:
And there are more features bundled to check out! All are packed in my site!
For now, I’m logging-off! Blogging on paper, muna!

Non-computer science majors, don’t be irked. Even CS majors too! Waah! Compsci terms!
In computer science, we call computer tasks as processes. Concurrent processes are needed to be scheduled or to be synchronized. Otherwise, the system will be left undecided on the case called deadlock.
I have learned deadlock detection schemes and also several scheduling techniques. And what in the world I’m talking about. Simple. I applied it on my busy life.
First, I have four processes namely P1 as tutorial sessions, P2 as on-the-job training, P3 as international programming competition training, and, P4 as curricular activities.
I placed P1 on the queue.
I earn three-digit a day from a six-hour Math-teaching. I am also buffered with free brunch, lunch, and merienda. Each week, three instances are scheduled – MWF. The center was a twenty-minute ride from home. (Still, I come late sometimes.)
Some context switching between attention-deficient grade six students and diligent (drum roll please) science high school students. At least, to gain respect from the kids, my ‘di-mahulugang-butiki’ hairstyle shall be replaced with a smart casual hairdo. Still, dyed! Hehe. Then the former mode is rollback when the audience becomes group of the hip youngsters.
Why shall be processed? First, without the said pay, then I can’t compensate everyday summer expenses of schooling. I save some hundred bucks and the remaining for a two-day UP dwelling. No money means no schooling. No P2, P3 and P4.
I am still working on how the scholarship sponsor will support my summer classes. Once approved, then I can have my money back.
So, we are left with three processes.
P2 are scheduled every TF and if possible right after flying from Bulacan to Quezon City every MWF. Fortunately, I am OJT inside the department. I can code overtime until there is a faculty member in the room.
P3 are scheduled every Saturdays. This is a remedy for my craving to represent not just the school but the country at large and to win in a competition. But the actual training is daily, er, nightly. After rushing homewards, where the timer is not the clock instead the MP3 playlist, program, program, till I drop.
P4 has lesser priority than the two prior jobs. Since I am deciding based on a preemptive scheduling, P4 is interrupted whenever I am called for P2 and P3.
Although with less precedence, it wipes my remaining power out. We are engineering the Freshmen Orientation. I just plunged in the pitfall of having the 50% + 1 Computer Science organizations. Of course, I must be fair to all my clubs. The only consolation I can receive is when they appreciate what I suggested.
Marketing. Financial Reporting. Setting fun activities up. Publishing web and journals. Assisting at the department. Musical arranging the theme song composition. Performing own composition. Making a presentation of own composition. Writing a storyboard of music video. Directing a music video. And perhaps acting and singing in the said music video.
Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. When I created another Yahoo profile as jonas_24_7, did I get it right? This is what we call multitasking a.k.a. living the college life to the fullest.
By the way, did I mention the fifth process?
It is on love. I’m having difficulty in synchronizing it. I detect a possible deadlock once I enqueued it. Haha deadlock!
