Once I saw a t-shirt slogan shouting, “Stop proving. Start improving!” Hence, my motto for the this entire fiscal year.

I had proven “The Others” wrong (in their face)! A 360-turn comeback is no joke after demoralizing steps they had taken. Yes, steps. Figuratively, they stepped on me almost crushed. So the next time they messed with me, our worlds would collide. So dare!

So much for my rants and angsts. Okay, I’m done with my proving stage. What’s next aside from propaganda ala ‘Plan Co Revolt’? Improve!

Although this would mean a reward by punishment, the main thing is learning. For the next six months, I will be exposed to more and more technical fields of SAP, Oracle and Unix. Finally!

Less Admin. Handful Operations. More Engineering.

Yebah! I’m back in engineering courses again. I will graduate from BS Security Administrator Major in SAP Requisition Minor in PAM Administration. I will happily handover my role to Mrs. X to carry more exciting Operations and Engineering workload.

I will be on Oracle and Unix scripting… at last programming! They all witnessed how my eyes glow. Of course, SAP projects wouldn’t be taken away. With this, I am proud to hold the title, Junior SAP Basis Engineer. Focus on the last noun!

And more automation ahead! Security is big big world. When you think of how to prevent breaches and intrusions, the possibilities are endless. It’s up to the specialist to creatively perform decision making.

QMR.

It is Quality Maintenance and Repair for Business firms while Quarterly Maintenance Release for government military. Well, in our house, QMR means Quality Maintenance Release. Basically. it’s the same thing, maintenance and in SAP’s case at higher level language, a regular application of product support packages. And really technical!

Excitement starts in bringing up the system!

Organization Building.

Target: Quarter 3 – Organization Building Individual Awardee. What a press release right? Well as a member of the press, GDPC Review, SM Professions plus Aviation Week, ITO Sportsfest and more, I feel it’s time for an EAO member to rule this time over the other tower in Ortigas. But I want to clear that it doesn’t mean that I have more time on these things. Believe me, this is 3 FTE.

DM and System Ownership.

DM will remain. The truth is, instead of having it once a month, it would only take 2 weeks a rest. Tsk. tsk. If they’ll put me again in three consecutive DM-ing, I will then write a letter, boldfaced, left-justified, blocked.

By the end of June, I will cut my attachment, system ownership, with my babies, E9, E8, W3 and W5. OK this time, because of QMR, I will adopt new children, 00, 15, 55, 50, 40, W1, W3, W5, 20, C1, G8, G9, GQ, GR, GS… what the…

What’s this, nursery?! Sounds like misery!
