If my intuition is right, there will be seven monsters-of-the-week before Lastikman will fight the boss. Following its plot (yeah, I’m watching this Fantaserye for weeks now because of my oracle on the script), it looks like the monsters were created out of one of the seven capital sins. Mothra came out as a seed of lust, Beautiki (jargonly translated a beautiful lizard) from envy and recently the insect man (I forgot his name) from anger. They all spread evil out of revenge. Formulaic plot, eh?This got my attention because Chakoria, one of my fantasy slash parody pieces, has a subplot on the seven deadly sins. The formula is not something new. This has been used by movies such as Se7en and anime FullMetal Alchemist. I can hardly wait for me to have the time to finish my series.

Or maybe the script writers of Lastikman are not that creative to consider the seven deadly sins? They might just revolve around the revenge thing.

Anyways, good thing for the writers to have Miguel remember the face of her mother unlike what happened to the Jewel Sisters of Pangarap na Bituin. The latter three have been with their mother since birth until to x years comparing to Miguel who happened to recognize the face through a single picture.

Yeah, I’m a certified teleserye watcher – eyeing on the plots. If ever these Pinoy script writers come out and strike, they should think twice. I might replace them. A tsk-tsk-tsk for the series Heroes.
